Ginza Six and the big department stores have character shops, toy floors and clean family facilities, plus rooftop space to let off steam. A picture-book cafe like ours is a gentle start to the day for little ones.

For open air, Hama-rikyū Gardens has wide lawns and a pond, and the waterbus ride there is an adventure in itself. Several kid-friendly museums and play spaces sit within a short train ride.
