Hama-rikyū Gardens

Hama-rikyū is a classic Edo-period landscape garden on the edge of Tokyo Bay. Its tidal seawater pond, seasonal flower fields and the teahouse on the water make it a calm counterpoint to Ginza's streets.

You can rest with a bowl of matcha at the teahouse, and even arrive by water bus down the Sumida River.
